We continue to address the ongoing threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, in line with Government advice and further to their announcement on 4 January, we have been adhering to the national lockdown restrictions across the whole of the UK.
To ensure that we are able to react quickly to any changes in Government guidance or local circumstances, our senior leadership teams and trustees have formed a COVID19 panel and meet regularly to review and update our working practices. All Step Together staff are provided with updates on how they can deliver their services whilst adhering to strict health and safety guidelines, in line with Government and Public Health restrictions.
We are committed to protecting the people we support during this time and their health, safety and wellbeing, along with that of our staff, remains paramount.
Despite the restrictions, particularly in terms of meeting people face to face, our staff team continues to work hard to support our community in different ways and they are keeping in regular contact with the people we work with so that that we can support them to stay safe and well throughout this period of uncertainty.
It’s more important now than ever that we take care of each other – whether that means self-isolating or reaching out safely by post, telephone or social media to those who need contact and companionship.
We’re all in this together.
Keep safe everyone!
